Alfreton Monday, the highly-anticipated 6-a-side football league, saw its week 5 matches played out last night with some mesmerizing displays of footballing prowess and skill. The Premier League and Division 1 saw some intense and closely contested matches with teams giving it their all to secure the all-important three points.

In the Premier League, the ADASC Panthers returned to winning ways after a hard-fought battle against Jimmys, ending the match 4-3 in their favor. Station Vets put in a dominant performance against Beating Chastards, cruising to a 3-0 victory. Pinta FC, on the other hand, could not come up with a winning performance as they were defeated 4-2 by For Fuchs Sake. In a goal-fest, 5ive 6ix and Evolve FC battled it out, with Evolve FC ultimately coming out on top with a 5-4 victory. Largentina could not maintain their winning form, losing 3-1 to Pentrich Revolution.

In Division 1, Narn United continued their winning streak with a 5-2 victory over Rizzers In Paris. FC Farcelona put in a dominating performance against Bilkhu Originals, ending the match with a resounding 6-2 victory. Six Offenders put on a show of sheer dominance, defeating Stroke Titty FC 11-1. Finally, LOT put in a strong performance against FC Misfits, coming out on top with a 6-3 victory. Unfortunately, Dahmers Men did not get a game due to Inter Haram not attending. This team have been spoken with and will be replaced with a team on the waiting list for next week. 

Overall, it was a night filled with exhilarating football action, and the teams left no stone unturned in their quest for victory. This week's matches were a testament to the level of skill and competitiveness the Alfreton Monday league brings to the table. Football fans can look forward to more exciting action as we head into week 6 of the competition.
