After an evening filled with thrilling action, Alfreton Monday’s 6-a-side football league reached the sixth week in its season. The Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 saw players and teams fight tooth and nail for top spots, displaying excellent performances across the board.
In the Premier League, Jimmys and Six Offenders found themselves locked in a fierce battle, ending in a 3-3 draw. Meanwhile, Largentina claimed a decisive victory over Beating Chastards with an impressive 6-1 win.
Over in Division 1, Mixed Often triumphed over Sporting Abeergut with a final score of 6-3, while Bad Badgers FC scraped by Bunting Bombers with a narrow 3-2 victory. AFC Jimmys asserted their dominance over FC Twente Pints in a 3-1 win, and Swanwick Delves outperformed Snort Vale with an outstanding 9-0 victory.
Division 2 saw an intense face-off between 2 Girls 1 Schlupp FC and The Steampacket, with the latter team securing a 6-3 win. FC Farcelona showed excellent form, beating Warne Hub Wanderers 5-1, while Green Team Blues emerged victorious against Bull And Butchers FC with a 3-0 win. Bilkhu Originals also had a great night, toppling Rent Boys 7-1.
Lastly, the Division 3 saw a tightly contested match between XG FC and AFC Carling, with XG FC coming out on top with a 2-1 score. Madiline Milan outshined Rectal Madrid in a 5-3 victory, while Cupid Stunts FC bested Fellas FC 5-2. Association Athletic finished the night on a high note with a 6-1 win over A-Town Boys.
