As the football mania continues to sweep Alfreton, Week 11 of the Alfreton Monday Football League brought intense competition to the turf last night across all divisions.
In the Premier League division, the shock of the evening was undoubtedly the Youngest in Charge FC’s 9-0 loss to Jimmys, proving to be a titanic display of strength by the latter. Meanwhile, Crystal Bar Palace managed a 2-0 victory over Bad Badgers FC, with a standout performance from their forwards. In another stunning match, Largentina outperformed Tibby Lads, scoring 9 goals to none. The day wrapped up with Swanwick Delves losing 4-2 to Pentrich Revolution in a closely contested match.
