New Paignton Wednesday 6 a side season kicks off!

NEW PAIGNTON WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE SEASON GETS UNDERWAY!

We returned to South Devon College to kick off the start of the new season after a good Christmas break, the action was intense and exhilarating in the Paignton Wednesday 6 a side Football league. We had a couple of teams away on an extended Xmas break including champions Barely Athletic so it was a chance for teams to get a lead on them early in the season, here's a round up of the scores from the league games: 

PREMIER LEAGUE

In what was a truly captivating start to the season, Net Six And Chill triumphed over Churston Yutes in a closely contested match, ending with a scoreline of 3-2. Dominic Cooper, who was adjudged the most valuable player of the week, netted all three goals for Net Six and Chill, setting the pitch on fire with his extraordinary performance.

Elsewhere in the division, MK Big Dongs made a thunderous start to their campaign, defeating new team Devon Mallus FC with an emphatic 5-1 victory. The team demonstrated a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, establishing themselves as ones to watch this season.

The match between Men Behaving Chadli and East Street FC was a thrilling encounter, eventually edging in favour of Men Behaving Chadli, who managed to snatch a 3-2 victory. The tightly matched teams showed great promise for the rest of the season.

Lastly, in a match-up between Inglorious Bas Dost and Haven't Jota Clue, the latter emerged victorious with a solid 3-1 win, demonstrating their abilities and setting an impressive tone for their upcoming matches.

As the season unfolds, we are eagerly looking forward to more thrilling matches and scintillating performances. The bar has been set high in the Premier League, with Dominic Cooper currently leading the top scorers' chart. With the season just getting started, there's plenty more action to look forward to in the coming weeks of the Paignton Wednesday 6 a side Football league.
