PAIGNTON WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE END OF SEASON
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CHAMPIONS

In the sensational conclusion to the Paignton Wednesday 6-a-side football league, the Premier League was lit up with staggering performances, nail-biting matches, and awe-inspiring goals.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In a high-octane match, Haven't Jota Clue triumphed over 6 Certified Ballers with a 7-3 victory. Inglorious Bas Dost, however, swept to victory against MK Big Dongs 6-0. Churston Yutes fell to Net Six And Chill in a tight match, ending 6-3. One of the most thrilling matches, however, was undoubtedly between Bastows Big Bazooka FC and Queens Park Strangers, where the former came out on top with a 10-5 win to finish the season as runners up on goal difference from Inglorious Bas Dost in third.
Our Champions and retain the title Barely Athletic displayed their football prowess with a 6-3 victory against Two Left Feet, securing their position as the season's winners of the Premier League. With a total of 21 points and 10 wins, Barely Athletic's hard-earned victory certifies their dominance in the season however not without some tight games along the way.
The final week of the season was also illuminated by individual brilliance. Elliott Simson, of Inglorious Bas Dost, emerged as the player of the season. His outstanding contribution last night was marked with a total of 5 goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League this season with 28.
The season has been a riveting journey of grit, determination, and exceptional football skills. The teams now look forward to the next season after the festive break where they will once again strive for supremacy in the Paignton Wednesday 6-a-side football league.
A massive thank you to Jamie for running the evening week in week out at South Devon College and to our regular referee's Marc and Barry, come rain or shine they'll be there. Thank you to all our players and captains too on an excellent season. The league as a whole is very competitive with some great games each week. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, enjoy the break, we return to action for the start of the new season on Wednesday 3rd January.
