In the opening week of the new season, the Paignton Wednesday 6 a side Football league kicked off with high intensity matches in the Premier League division. The games delivered plenty of goals and excitement as the teams battled it out for early bragging rights.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Bastows Big Bazooka Fc made a stunning start to their campaign by recording a remarkable 7-3 victory over TATES ANGELS. The team's attacking prowess was on full display as they put seven past their opponents, setting a high bar for the season.
Churston Yutes also started their season on a high note, showcasing their dominance with a resounding 7-0 win over Brixham Bay FC. The Yutes demonstrated a rock-solid defence and high-powered offense, promising an exciting season ahead.
In what was the closest game of the night, Haven't Jota Clue edged out Men Behaving Chadli with a hard-fought 3-2 victory. The match was a thrilling back-and-forth affair that kept us on our toes until the final whistle.
As the season has only just begun, these early results set an exciting stage for the matches to come. We are eagerly waiting for the next round of fixtures and we are sure the teams won't disappoint in delivering thrilling football. The Paignton Wednesday League has truly kicked off with a bang!
