Paignton Wednesday 6 a side news 2024-05-22

In an exhilarating week of football, the ninth week of the Paignton Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, there were nail-biting encounters and awe-inspiring individual performances. The Premier League saw teams battled it out with skilful plays and strategic manoeuvres.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In an impressive match, Men Behaving Chadli emerged victorious over reigning champions Bastows Big Bazooka FC with a final score of 9-6. The top scorer in the Premier League this week, Zachariah Musson from Men Behaving Chadli, showcased his tremendous skill, scoring four dazzling goals to lead his team to victory and close the gap at the top to a point.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Net Six and Chill outplayed Haven't Jota Clue, with a final score of 6-3. East Street FC also triumphed over Stay Gully FC in a thrilling match, with a scoreline of 6-4. In another breathtaking game, TATES ANGELS overcame Ctrl Alt De Ligt 6-4, while Murder on Zidanes Floor FC edged past Churston Yutes by a single goal in a hotly contested match, ending with a scoreline of 4-3.

On an individual level, the spotlight was firmly on Kelan Stanners from Stay Gully FC, who was crowned as the most valued player of the week after a hat-trick on his league debut. Stanners' impressive performance, despite his team's loss to East Street FC, highlighted his outstanding skill and determination, earning him the recognition he deserved.

This week's league action underlines the high level of competition in the Premier League of the Paignton Wednesday 6-a-side Football League. With such an exhilarating week behind us, it's safe to say we are eagerly awaiting what week 10 holds.
