In the gripping world of local football, week 8 of the Paignton Wednesday league held yet another night of adrenaline-filled matches in the Premier League division with some truly extraordinary performances on display.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Leaders Bastows Big Bazooka FC rose to the occasion, leaving no room for Brixham Bay FC to retaliate, sealing a 9-0 victory in a truly stunning display of dominance. Similarly, Unathletico Madrid showed their supremacy on the field with a decisive 7-1 win against Haven't Jota Clue. Proving their prowess, Murder On Zidanes Floor FC also snagged a convincing 8-1 victory over Men Behaving Chadli.
The match between TATES ANGELS and Net Six And Chill was a thrilling encounter, ending in an 8-5 triumph for TATES ANGELS, while Churston Yutes fell short against Ctrl Alt De Ligt, with the latter bagging a 6-3 victory.
The star of the night was Jamie Smith of Unathletico Madrid who topped the chart as the highest scorer in the Premier League division with an impressive hat-trick.
