QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1926-2022

We’ll pause the usual breaking news for the Reigate 6 a side league this week, to join with the rest of the country in paying our respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

All our leagues are cancelled on Monday throughout the country on the day of the funeral, but they will be back on by the time of the big kick off at South Park FC.

The loss of the Queen will be felt keenly in the country and after her 70 years of service to the nation she has been a constant rock throughout everyone’s lives, particularly in the last few years of turbulence.

We send our sincere condolences to her family, close friends and anyone who feels her loss. She was a great supporter of sports, and the new King Charles III has been supportive of Leisure Leagues in the past.
