Soccer fans across Milton Keynes were treated to a feast of football last night as Week 7 of the popular Monday League unfolded. The Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 all saw hard-fought battles and impressive displays of skill.
In the Premier League, DoublePogbaAndCoke edged out Benteke Fried Chicken 2-1 in a nail-biting match. Unatletico managed to topple La Roja 3-2, while UTB XI bested Bourton Mill 3-1. The standout player of the division was Unatletico's striker who bagged two of their three goals, showing his clinical finishing abilities.
Over in Division 1, Bife Weaters FC narrowly defeated Shitzerland 2-1. SPT Teckers displayed an attacking masterclass, trouncing Nottinyourmumsforest 5-0. The Milton Generals and The Bilge Boys settled for a draw with a score of 2-2, and YMCA secured a comfortable 2-0 win against BILLYNOMATES FC. The top scorer in Division 1 was the forward from SPT Teckers, who scored an astonishing hat trick.
Meanwhile, Division 2 saw Bayern Neverlosing overcome Only Put Matip In 3-1 in a competitive showdown. Home Of The Whopper secured a 5-3 victory against Puyol Pants Down, while Hardly Athletic outclassed Real Cumden Fc 5-2. Darvall's Disciples provided the biggest shock of the night, shutting out Six Offenders 4-0. The standout player of Division 2 was the striker from Home Of The Whopper, who netted a fantastic four goals.
As we move into Week 8, anticipation is already building. With each team fighting for league supremacy, the Milton Keynes Monday League is set to serve up more exciting matches.
