THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE WORCESTER THURS LEAGUE 13TH MAY

Another excellent evening in the Worcester Thursday 6 aside league held at St Johns Sports Centre on what was a very wet night. Unfortunately Berrow Boys were unable to attend this week but we have spoken to their team manager and he has confirmed that this was a one off and they will be back as usual for next weeks match.

With Berrow Boys not attending, their opponents Real Sosobad were gifted a 5-0 victory to move them 7 points clear at the top of the division and secure the title with 3 games remaining. Born Toulouse FC remain in second place but only on goal difference as they went down 6-2 to BJH Motors who joined them on 12 points. Although the title has been secured the fight for second place is heating up with only 2 points separating 2nd and 6th.
