Thursday 14th March - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league.  We were however disappointed to see a non-attendance from The Goal Diggers who had some late dropouts, but return to action on Thursday 21st March.  WR2 Galacticos also missed this week with notice due to a number of unavailable players, but return to action for the next round of games.

The night proved to be a high-scoring affair with Purge FC delivering a stellar performance against BJH Motors. The game was dominated by Purge FC right from the start, as they ended up with a crushing 13-3 victory over their opponents. The triumphant team demonstrated their superior skills and formidable form, providing spectators with a memorable match.

Meanwhile, another exciting showdown was witnessed as Tiny Todgers squared off against Nuns United. The match was filled with energy, with Tiny Todgers ultimately overcoming Nuns United, scoring 13 goals to 4. This victory is a testament to their determination and team spirit, consolidating their position in the league.

Special mention must be given to the Premier League division's top scorer, Brad from Purge FC, who has had an exceptional week by scoring a total of seven goals. Brad showcased skill, stamina, and precision in his game, contributing significantly to his team's win. His performance this week has further strengthened his position as a key player in his team and a force to be reckoned with in the division.
