Thursday 1st February - Worcester Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some entertaining games played across the division.

In a contest that could only be described as a titanic tussle, Tiny Todgers and BJH MOTORS battled to a 3-3 draw, displaying both tenacity and grit. Despite attempts from both sides to break the deadlock, defenses held firm, resulting in an evenly shared spoil of points.

Elsewhere in the division, Top Boys stormed to a resounding 6-1 win over Nuns United, demonstrating dominance and raw power on the field. The overwhelming victory underscores their ambitions for the season and puts the other teams on high alert.

However, it was WR2 GALACTICOS who stole the limelight, hammering The Goal Diggers 13-3 in an incredible display of attacking prowess. Their high-octane performance is sure to resonate and make an indelible mark on the division.

The highest scoring match of the night happened to be Purge FC decimating Charvas Yanited with a staggering 15-1 blowout. The star of the show was undoubtedly BRAD from Purge FC who netted an impressive 10 goals, marking himself as the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.
