It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league at St Johns Sports Centre this week.

The intensity was palpable, with each team striving hard to climb the division ladder. WU Gaffa Cakes met their match against WR2 GALACTICOS in a high-scoring thriller that ended in a 7-5 victory for the GALACTICOS. The match was a true testament to the spirit and skill of both teams, with the spectators on their toes throughout the game.

In a similar vein, The Goal Diggers faced a tough challenge against Charvas Yanited. Despite a spirited effort, the Diggers fell short in an 8-5 defeat. Yanited showcased their football prowess, dominating the field and proving that they are not to be taken lightly this season.

However, the highlight of the evening was the stunning performance from Purge FC, who dominated Nuns United with a 10-3 victory. The star of the night was undoubtedly BRAD from Purge FC, who netted a total of six goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week. His extraordinary skill and precision were a sight to behold and significantly contributed to Purge FC's resounding victory.

The league continues to provide a fantastic platform for local teams to showcase their talent and prowess in football.
