Thursday 26th October - Worcester Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league this week as all teams attended their matches as scheduled and some entertaining football was on display as ever!

Top of the agenda was the sensational clash between Charvas Yanited and Tiny Todgers. Despite a spirited effort from Charvas Yanited, Tiny Todgers emerged victorious with a formidable 6-3 scoreline. Tiny Todgers demonstrated their prowess, their attacking style of play, and lethal precision in front of the goal, sending a strong message to other teams in the division.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Purge FC locked horns with W.a.s in a tantalizing contest. Confident strikes and strategic play led Purge FC to dominate the pitch, ending the match with a solid 5-2 win.

The most thrilling fixture of the night, however, was between Top Boys and Warnock Wanderers. Fans were treated to a goal fest as Warnock Wanderers defeated Top Boys 8-5 in a thrilling encounter.

Last but not least, WR2 GALACTICOS cruised past BJH MOTORS with a comfortable 4-1 victory. WR2 GALACTICOS showcased their superior tactics and team synergy, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up.

In terms of individual performances, the Premier League division saw a masterclass from Jim of Warnock Wanderers. Finding the back of the net four times in a single match, Jim took the spotlight as the division's top scorer of the week.
