It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring The Cherry Charvas who have now been removed from the league with immediate effect.

We welcome new team Unathletico Madrid to the league as a replacement for the above and wish them good luck going into their first fixture on Thursday 5th August.

In the Premier League, Watersedge FC faced off against The Goal Diggers, resulting in a 3-1 victory in favor of Watersedge FC. Their offensive strategy and coordinated teamwork proved too powerful for The Goal Diggers, whose defensive efforts were commendable, despite the loss.

Perhaps the most surprising outcome of the night was the face-off between Paris Ganja Man and Purge FC, which witnessed a jaw-dropping 11-2 victory for Purge FC. Their relentless attacks and stellar defensive maneuvers left Paris Ganja Man with few opportunities to retaliate. Purge FC's sweeping triumph was largely attributed to BRAD, the top scorer in the Premier League division, who netted a remarkable total of 8 goals. His superior skill and agility on the field were on full display, greatly contributing to his team's victory.

In another thrilling matchup, WU Rangers took on Charvas Yanited, leading to a nail-biting 7-5 win for Charvas Yanited. This closely contested match showcased the competitive spirit of both teams, with each side refusing to back down.
