Thursday 4th May - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some cracking matches played!

First up, DGFC put in a strong performance against BJH MOTORS, earning a well-deserved 3-1 victory. Despite a spirited effort from BJH MOTORS, DGFC showed their class with some great teamwork and clinical finishing. It was a real case of "Drive and Goal" for DGFC!

In the second match of the night, WR2 GALACTICOS took on AYEW MY DAD FC, and it was the latter who struck first, with a fantastic goal to open the scoring. However, WR2 GALACTICOS quickly rallied, showing some real "Out of this World" skills to take control of the game. Despite a valiant effort from AYEW MY DAD FC, WR2 GALACTICOS emerged as 8-4 winners, thanks to some stunning play from their star players.

The third game of the night saw CUNNY FUNTS take on 2 LEFT FEET, and it was a completely one-sided affair from start to finish. CUNNY FUNTS lived up to their name, playing some truly "Funtastic" football and running out 8-0 winners. 2 LEFT FEET will need to go back to the drawing board after this heavy defeat.

Finally, in the last match of the night, TINY TODGERS took on W.A.S, and it was a closely contested game throughout. TINY TODGERS showed some real "Small but Mighty" skills, taking the lead early on with a well-taken goal. W.A.S fought back hard, but TINY TODGERS held on for a 3-1 victory, much to the delight of their players.

Overall, it was another great night of football in the Worcester Thursday 6 a side league, with some fantastic performances and plenty of goals to keep everyone entertained.
