Thursday 7th March - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed matches played across the division.

In a hard-fought match, Nuns United edged past BJH Motors 2-1, displaying tactical discipline and clinical finishing. Despite their best efforts, BJH Motors couldn't bounce back from a one-goal deficit, highlighting the competitive nature of the Premier League division.

The game between WR2 Galacticos and Tiny Todgers was a pulsating goal-fest. WR2 Galacticos emerged victorious with an 8-5 scoreline, showcasing their attacking prowess and dominion over the game.

In another riveting encounter, Top Boys outshined Charvas Yanited with an 8-4 win. Their attacking flare was too much for Charvas Yanited who, despite their best efforts, couldn’t keep pace.

However, the highlight of the night was Purge FC’s masterclass performance against The Goal Diggers. Purge FC showed their superiority with an astonishing 11-3 victory, making a strong statement to their rivals in the division. Their attacking midfielder, BRAD, stole the show with an exceptional performance, netting 6 goals for his team and ending the night as the top scorer in the Premier League division.
