Thursday 9th May - Worcester Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some superb matches played.

In a high-scoring game, WU Gaffa Cakes faced off against BJH MOTORS. The match ended with a victory for WU Gaffa Cakes who secured a 5-3 win. The WU Gaffa Cakes outclassed their opponents, putting in an impressive display of skill and teamwork.

Meanwhile, The Goal Diggers, despite putting up a brave fight, fell short of a win against Top Boys, losing 2-4. Top Boys displayed a commendable performance, showcasing their impeccable strategy and technique.

Purge FC and WR2 GALACTICOS delivered an edge-of-the-seat thriller, with Purge FC narrowly securing a victory with a 4-3 scoreline. The gripping match saw exceptional performances from both teams, keeping the spectators engaged throughout.

However, the shock of the week came as Nuns United was routed by Charvas Yanited. Charvas Yanited scored a whopping 13 goals against a solitary goal from Nuns United, marking the most one-sided match of this week's Premier League division games.
