Thursday 9th November - Worcester St John's Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 5 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being BJH Motors who cancelled late on but return on Thursday 16th November.

In the Premier League division, there was no shortage of thrilling action. Purge FC clinched a 3-1 victory against the Tiny Todgers. The game showcased an impressive display of skill and determination from Purge FC. Despite a spirited effort, Tiny Todgers couldn't overcome their opponents.

Following that exhilarating match, Charvas Yanited squared off against Top Boys. Yanited dominated the field, triumphing with an impressive 5-1 victory. The team displayed their superior skills, setting the pitch on fire with their dynamic performance.

Possibly the most intense game of the night was between Warnock Wanderers and WR2 GALACTICOS. In a gripping face-off that had spectators on the edge of their seats, WR2 GALACTICOS emerged victorious, scoring a staggering 9 goals to Warnock Wanderers' 7. Despite the valiant effort from the Wanderers, GALACTICOS managed to hold their ground and take home the win.

The standout player in the Premier League division was OLLIE from Charvas Yanited, who showed exceptional talent. He scored an impressive total of four goals, leading his team to victory and securing his position as the week's top scorer in the Premier League division.

The Worcester Thursday League continues to be an incredible exhibition of local talent and sportsmanship. The results of this week have certainly set the stage for a captivating run towards the season finale. We look forward to the nail-biting action in the weeks to come.
