Chippenham Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 9

In the thrilling ninth week of the Chippenham Monday 6 a side Football league, teams across the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battled it out on the pitch with some standout performances stealing the show.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Kingfisher FC managed an impressive feat with a solid 5-2 victory over Birds Marsh Rangers, demonstrating their might in the game. In another close encounter, Dem Blasters edged out DIET FC by 3-2 in a game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. HP FC also made their presence felt by overcoming Inter Ur Nan with a 3-1 win. But the individual spotlight was stolen by Kurt Baston of Inter Ur Nan, netting 1 goal to become the top scorer in the Premier League.

DIVISION ONE
The Division 1 games were equally gripping. The Janitors FC fell by a solitary goal to Peroulis Fc in a match that was a true test of endurance and skill. Linton FC was on fire, demolishing MRG Legends with a convincing 6-1 victory. Meanwhile, Melts United and The Fatty Jihadi could not manage to outscore each other, ending in a 1-1 draw. Simon Emery from Linton FC stood out by scoring 2 goals and walking away as the top scorer of Division 1.

However, the real talk of the town was Jake Angell from Peroulis Fc, who was named the most valued player of the week. His performance on the pitch was truly commendable, and he played a crucial role in his team's victory.

As we look ahead to the tenth week of the Chippenham Monday league, the teams will have to step up their game and bring their A-game to clinch the top spots in their respective divisions. With top scorers such as Kurt Baston and Simon Emery, fans can look forward to more action-packed matches in the coming weeks.
