Week 3 of Stourbridge Monday 6 a Side Football League: An Exciting Display of Skills and Sportsmanship

The Stourbridge Monday 6 a Side Football League ventured into its third week, showcasing an impressive ensemble of talented teams and individuals who were ready to make their mark in the Premier League division.

Unfortunately we did have a few non-attendances on the night and will be in contact with them in order to confirm there return for the 28th. It is paramount all teams are present each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if there are any issues please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of time. 

In more positive news, Barely Athletic's Andy P demonstrated a stellar performance by taking home the title of the Premier League division's top scorer of the week. He skillfully navigated the field, securing a total of 2 goals, further solidifying Barely Athletic's position in the league. Andy's exceptional ball skills and strategic game-play were instrumental in his team's performance, making him a significant asset.

However, while Andy P led in scoring, the title of the most valued player was awarded to a different talent. Matt Brooks, a key player from Euro Anchor FC, managed to steal the spotlight with his outstanding performance. Brooks, who has time and again proved his prowess on the pitch, took the week by storm with his fantastic gameplay. The player brought to the field a blend of agility, strategy, and finesse, which played a vital role in his team's performance in the Premier League division.

In the Premier League division, competition is fierce. It is a platform where every goal counts and every move can change the fate of a match. And it is in this very division that talents like Andy P and Matt Brooks have shone through, impressing both fans and critics alike.

The league is now OFF for Easter Monday this week and will return Monday 28th April 2025. We wish all players, officials and there families a wonderful Easter and see you all when we return. Please also note that the league will be OFF for two bank holidays in May also on Monday 5th May 2025 and Monday 25th May 2025 so plan accordingly.
