A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Over 35s Monday League at Stourbridge Rugby Club.

Unfortunately, we did have one non-attendance as 'The Bat Fastards' were unable to fulfil their fixture. As per the terms and conditions because they have missed two games in a row they will now be removed from the league. Even though it does open a space up it is important we have teams at the league able to field a team each and every week in order to run as smoothly as possible.

In more positive news, the game of the evening in the Premier League was the top of the table clash between 'Athletico Arthritico' and 'Boca Seniors'. In a very close affair, the shares were spoiled in the end as the teams played out a 2-2 draw. All to play for with two weeks to go but only three teams left in the race for the title, who will come out on top?

In Division One the game of the night was between 'Not Quite Passed It' and 'Surreal Madrid', two single player teams going head-to-head in the race for promotion. In a game that could have gone either way it finished 2-2 and means 'Del Bosque FC' go a point clear with two games to go. Who will come out on top in the race for the Division One title?

The team of the evening are 'Enville Athletic Veterans' as they ran out emphatic 6-1 winners against 'Boca 20'. They are chasing the top spot very hard but is it going to be too little too late in order to catch their rivals?
