ANOTHER FANTASTIC NIGHT IN STOURBRIDGE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Monday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

It was also great to welcome another new team 'Leave My Arselona'. They put in a very good showing for there first game running out comfortable 6-1 winners. Lets see if this continues in the weeks to come, good luck for the rest of the season!

Unfortunately we did have a disciplinary issue in the game between 'SYD FC' and 'SH Dons'. Josh Bayliss was sent from the field of play for 'SYD FC' for some very aggressive behaviour towards an opponent which means he will be fined £20 and banned from the league for four weeks. It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly.

On more positive news, game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game 'Borussia Teeth' and 'Crep City FC'. A very entertaining game between two very good teams that saw 11 goals in total. It was 'Borussia Teeth' who came out on top 6-5 in the end and with this got there first win of the season, can they make it two out of two when they face 'West Midlands United F.C.' next week?

Division One game of the week was the first game of the night between 'Nitty Commitee FC' and 'Paris Ganja Man'. With a high scoring game played out in the first game of the season this one did not disappoint as another 5 goals flew in but it was league leaders 'Nitty Commitee FC' who ran out 3-2 winners on the night and therefore extended there lead at the top. 3 points clear as they go into the final game before the halfway stage in the season they are the ones to catch in Division One.

The game of the night in Division Two was the game between 'Cott Land Colts' and 'Expected Toulouse F.C.'. Another 5 goal thriller between two similarly able teams in the first game of the night but it was 'Cott Lane Colts' who ran out 3-2 winners in the end. Two wins in a row for 'Cot Lane Colts' means they are now starting to climb the league, next up 'Call The Cops FC', will the win streak continue?

Division Three game of the week was the game between 'Football Club FC' and 'Schoolboy Error'. 'Football Club FC' were able to bounce back from there first game of the season loss and take the 3-2 win. With the results on Monday it means that all the teams in the Division now have there first win and it all looks very tight going into the third game of there season.

Climbing up to 2nd in the Premier Division, 'Chip Butty FC' are our team of the week as they ran out 7-1 winners against 'West Midlands United F.C.'. With this fantastic start to the season can they now look at chasing down unbeaten league leaders 'Wolves Ay We'. A tasty challenge against 'Neville' next week will see if they can keep pace with the top of the league.
