BRIERLEY HILL MONDAY LEAGUE BACK WITH A BANG!!!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for. Unfortunately we did have one disciplinary issue in the game between 'AC McCann' vs 'That Peter Crouch Team'. Dan Hill from 'AC McCann' was sent from the field for some abusive language towards the referee, he has been fined £10 because of this. It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to 'Dudley Warriors' VS 'Lets Get Messi'. Both teams know each other well now as they have played each other a number of times and it showed with how close and tight the affair was. 'Dudley Warriors' came away with the 3-2 win and with it remain two points off the top two, lets see if they can keep this form up going into the new year.

The game of the night in Division One was between 'Crep City FC' and 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC'. A high scoring affair that could have gone either way but 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC' came away the 5-4 winners in a very exciting game. With this win they stay second and are making a real push for promotion this season.

Team of the week for this week are 'West Midlands United F.C'. This team are really starting to come into their own in Division One and have climbed up to third and one point off the promotion spots after six games. With only one loss in the season so far it will be interesting to see if they can keep this form up going into a game with the unbeaten new team 'Gary Neville Is A Legend'.
