FANTASTIC NIGHT OF 6ASIDE FOOTBALL IN BRIERLEY HILL!!!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for and some very tight games played throughout.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between last seasons top two 'Dudley Warriors' and 'Inter Mi'Bathams'. Both teams were very impressive in a very close encounter on the night with 'Inter Mi'Bathams' coming out on top 3-2. Both teams have struggled to match the success of last season and will be looking to finish as high as they can when the season ends in four weeks time.

All good games again in Division One but it was the last game between 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC' and 'West Midlands United FC' that was the best of the night. A nine goal thriller that ended with a 5-4 win for 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC' means they are now two points behind there opponents with four games to. As the season goes on it will be interesting to see where both teams that fought out the game of the week end up.

Team of the week for this week is 'Inter Mi'Bathams' with the result above. With this win they have climbed out of the relegation places and are looking up rather then down but with the league being so tight down there who will be able to stay up when it is all said and done. Next up for them is 'That Peter Crouch Team', can they throw the cat amongst the pigeons and get in the way of there opponents chasing the title?
