STOURBRIDGE MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 3RD APRIL

All the latest news from the Stourbridge 6-a-side Monday league is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Monday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

The Premier League game of the night goes to the game between 'Call The Cops FC' and 'Celta Allstars'. Two very similar and strong sides going head-to-head but the points were shared in the end in a very competitive 2-2 draw as 'Call The Cops FC' fought hard in the second half to take the draw. Both teams will be looking to go on a run of wins in the remaining games in order to finish as high as they can come the end of the season.

Division One game of the night was between 'Baz Ball FC' and 'This Is Plough We Do It''. It was a great game of 6-aside football with two teams fighting hard for the win, 5 goals between the two teams but it was 'Baz Ball FC' who were more clinical and got the win and sit in the relgation zone  currently but this win could spur them on with four games remaining! 'This is Plough We Do It' will feel disappointed they could not gain the points as the tip toe on the edge of the relegation zone.

The game of the night in Division Two was the game between 'Dynamo B.C.' and 'Let the Game McGinn'. In a fast-paced and exciting game that saw five goals and goal-mouth action throughout it was 'Dynamo B.C' who were able to come away with the 3-2 win in the end. 'Dynamo B.C' now sit midtable only three points off the promotion places, can they continue a final push?

'BBF United ' are our team of the week. A dominant display has helped solidify their place in the league with four weeks to go. Five points off the top two as they look to continue their form in the weeks to come.

The league is now off for Easter Monday meaning the league will resume again on Monday 17th April 2023 as the centre is closed. We would like to wish everyone involved with the league a happy Easter and see you in a few weeks.
