STOURBRIDGE MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 8TH NOVEMBER 2021

A fantastic start to the season in the with all teams in attendance and accounted for. It was also great to welcome new team 'The Princess'. Even though it wasn't the performance and result they wanted they will be looking to bounce back in the weeks to come. Good luck to them for the new season!

Some great games to kick off the season in the Premier Division but game of the night this week goes to the game between last seasons Division One winners 'Redz On Stedz' and Premier Division Runners Up 'Inter Mi'Bathams'. In a hotly contested game that saw lots of chances throughout and a game played at a very high tempo but it was 'Inter Mi'Bathams' who were able to start the season off in the perfect way and come out 3-2 winners. With how all the games were played out in the Premier Division it sets the league up well as we go into the rest of the season.

A few games stand out in Division One but it was the final game of the night that is the game of the night between 'PArk Tavern FC' and 'Oaks Ay We'. Two very evenly matched teams that played out a great game but it was 'Park Tavern FC' who came out on top 3-1 in the end. Four good wins in this division to start the season it will be interesting to see how the league looks as the season progresses.

The game of the night in Division Two was the game between 'Pique Blinders' and 'West Midlands United F.C'. Two similarly able teams that served up a cracker but it was 'West Midlands United F.C' who came out on top 2-1 and taking the bragging rights this time. With how close the games were in Division Two as well we are looking at three very evenly matched leagues. Can 'Pique Blinders' get there revenge when the two teams meet again later in the season?

Team of the week for this week has to be the early Premier Division league leaders 'Chip Butty FC'. A very impressive 9-1 win against the new team 'The Princess' shows there intent from the off. With this performance they are making an early push to show there title credentials, next up 'Inter Mi'Bathams'.
