Last night, the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side football league saw another round of thrilling matches, marking the ninth week of the season. The games were brimming with passion and determination, with players battling for their respective team's glory.

In the Premier League, intense matches were witnessed as Celta Allstars drew 3-3 with Unprotected Cesc, and Big Boys defeated Big Stiff Chip Butty by a close 4-2. AFC Vexham and Wheres Your Man FC also battled it out, leading to a 3-3 draw.

In Division 1, Mirage United delivered a stellar performance with a 6-0 win over Stourbridge Olympic while Baz Ball FC had a narrow 4-3 victory against De Jong Boys. 

Division 2 saw a tight contest as AC MiBathams drew 1-1 with Genoa Side. Piqué Blinders suffered a narrow loss to BBF United, and Bayern Neverlosen was defeated by Reserve Squad V2.

In Division 3, Athletic Dildao edged out Paralympique Marseille, and Notting Yourmumsforest overpowered Scran City. Borussia Munchenshdrack also came away with a 1-0 win over Waggon Wanderers in a very tight and absording encounter.

Battles were fierce in Division 4 as well, with Gylfi As Charged defeating This Is Plough We Do It, and Hickorys Allstars losing to Spignif Allstars. Hwang Bang and Expected Toulouse FC also played out a very entertaining 2-2 draw in this division as well.

Finally, in Division 5, Cott Lane Colts emerged victorious over Unathletic Madrid, while Peter Larsen Kaffe steamrolled over The Unbelievable Lads FC. Danny Gs Henchmen were also 2-1 winners over Still Trying FC.

As we approach the tenth week of the season, anticipation is high, with all teams vying for the top spots in their respective divisions.

The league is now OFF for bank holiday Monday and will return Monday 3rd June 2024. We wish all players, officials and there families a wonderful Bank holiday weekend and see you all when we return.
