Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
Stourbridge Monday Football League has just wrapped up its fourth week of competition with a series of electrifying matches across multiple divisions.
Unfortunately there was an incident on the night as a card had to be issued to a team. There was an incident where a player from Still Trying FC was verbally abusive towards a referee because of this, The player have been fined £10. This incident will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each time they happen as it is not the league we want to promote at the venue.
In other news, We did have two non-attendances on the night as Waggon Wonderers and Talbot 6 were not present for their games and we will be in contact with both of them this week in order to confirm their returns for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
In more positive news, In the Premier League division, AFC Vexham triumphed over Baz Ball FC with a score of 3-1, Mirage United cruised to a convincing 6-2 victory over VI Inches Combined, while Big Boys dominated Wheres Your Man FC with a commanding scoreline of 4-1.
Over in Division 1, Genoa Side blanked Borussia Munchenshadrack with an impressive 4-0 finish. Stourbridge Olympic and Big Stiff Chip Butty ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw. .
Division 2 saw Hwang Bang narrowly defeated by Spignif Allstars with a 1-0 score. The game of the week was undoubtedly BBF United's astounding win over Piqué Blinders.
In Division 3, Scran City overpowered This Is Plough We Do It by 5-2. Twinkle Toes shut out Bakers Barmy Army with a resounding 4-0 result. Cott Lane Colts also had a resounding 5-0 victory over Expected Toulouse FC.
Finally, in Division 4, Six Offenders outplayed SPAFF IT FC 4-0, and Danny G's Henchmen edged out Still Trying FC 5-3. Unathletic Madrid also had a 4-3 win over Team Pending which proves how competitive Division 4 is at the moment.
