The Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side football league ignited the pitch last night in its 5th week of the season. Fans were treated to an array of skillful football from teams competing across all divisions.

Unfortunately, we did have a number of non-attendances on the night, A number of  teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League division, we saw Genoa Side triumph over Fill Her Wycombe with a 3-1 win while Celta Allstars blanked Wheres Your Man FC 3-0. 

The action was no less intense in Division 1 where Big Stiff Chip Butty fell short against Mals Tav Athletic in a 6-2 defeat. Talbot 6 sealed a stunning victory over VI Inches Combined with a whopping scoreline. Yatesys VI also dominated their game against Stourbridge Olympic coming out 4-0 winners.

Over in Division 2, matches were closely contested. Athletic Dildao and Peter Larsen Kaffe locked horns in a 2-2 draw while Spignif Allstars were edged out 3-2 by DY5 Bullets. It was all honors even as Bayern Neverlosen and Pique Blinders played out a 1-1 draw.

Division 3 saw Past Our Prime narrowly beat HAS Bin Lions 7-6 while Railway 6's overcame Twinkle Toes 3-2. Scran City comfortably breezed past Lads On Toure coming out 4-0 victors. Finally, Hwang Bang edged out Bakers Barmy Army with a 2-1 score line.

In Division 4, Still Trying FC defeated SPAFF IT FC 3-1, and Danny Gs Henchmen outperformed Team Pending with a 3-0 victory. Unathletic Madrid edged past Rios Friday FC with a 1-0 score line, while This Is Plough We Do It and Expected Toulouse FC played out a 1-1 draw.

This week's action reaffirms the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side league as a breeding ground for talent and exciting football. Fans are eagerly anticipating next week's games.
