Great to see some wonderful games played during the Brierley Hill Monday League this week. Two teams not their this week as 'Crumptons Firm' handed in their 7 days notice as their team were away and we look forward to having them back next week. It was however very disappointing that 'Notting Yourmumsforest' were unable to fulfil their fixture. The team will be contacted to confirm their return next week. It is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week.
Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the game between 'Puyol Pants Down' and 'Crep City FC'. 'Crep City FC' worked hard to get something out of the game but the experience of 'Puyol Pants Down' got them the 3-2 win in the end. 3 points from safety and two games left is not looking good for 'Crep City FC', can they stage a great escape in order to preserve there Premier Division status. Still all to play for next week but good results for 'Dudley Warriors' and 'Inter Mi'Bathams' will see these two teams as the seasons top two in the Premier Division, good luck!
The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC' and 'Who Ate All Depays'. A 3-3 draw a fitting result for the game these two teams played out and leaves the second place spot in the league up for grabs with 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC' playing '6 Berks and A Turk' next week. Well done to 'Exeter Gently' who are Division One champions for this season and will be playing Premier Division football next season following an undefeated season so far.
Because of their brilliant performance above 'Who Ate All Depays' are our team of the week. How far can they climb with two games left with them 1 point behind the teams above them?
