Leisure Leagues are getting the nation moving again! The Stourbridge Sunday League is back at Stourbridge Rugby Club this week and your area manager will be contacting your team captain this week to fill you in on any changes and welcome all new teams that will be starting at the league.
We have changed a few rules in all of our leagues as your safety and the safety of our match officials is our priority. Please be aware of these so everyone is safe on Sunday 11th April 2021!
The main differences in our leagues are as follows:
- First, we will not be allowing you to warm up with our footballs. We don't usually but in the current climate you must bring a ball from home for practice.
- All teams must wear matching colours, there will be bibs if absolutely necessary and these will always be washed before the next game.
- In addition, it is requested that all teams pay for games in advance using the website, as money is regarded as a spreader of the Covid-19 virus. Our website has been updated to enable any player rather than just the team captain to pay for the game.
- You will need to stay in your own ‘team groups’ and do not shake hands at the end of the match. Wash your hands before coming out to the league and as soon as you return home and also at the league.
The government has already given its unwavering commitment to getting the country fit again, Leisure Leagues is here to help you get your fitness levels back up and get you back out on the pitch to socialise with your mates again!
We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
We have a NEW DIVISION starting this Sunday 11th April 2021 with FREE ENRTY to every team that signs up until this date and only TWO SPACES remaining. Sign up today to get involved with the best 6-a-side leagues around!
