FOUR GAMES GONE IN STOURBRIDGE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Sunday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have a disciplinary issue on the night. In the game between 'This Is Plough We Do It' and 'CG', Will Cassassola from 'This Is Plough We Do It' was sent off for raising his hands towards another player's face unneccesarily and Chris Young from 'CG' was sent off for reacting to this. Because of the incident both players have been fined £10 and banned from playing at the league for one week. It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly.

On more positive news, the game of the night this week goes to the game between 'Dusty Yutes' and 'I Like That'. Two very good sides that run each other very close but 'Dusty Yutes' were able to come out on top with a 4-2 win. With this result they are now only three points off the top two and will be looking to climb the table further in there game against 'AFC Audnam' next week.

With this performance 'Dusty Yutes' are also our team of the week. They are settling into the league nicely and will be looking to build on the two wins they have so far in order to finish as high as they can for the remaining of the season.
