The Stourbridge Sunday Football league saw a spectacular week seven with unbeatable energy, showing the heart of local football.

Unfortunately there was an incident on the night as two cards had to be issued to two teams in the same game. There was an incident where a player each from Cordial FC and Blackheath Unathletic, engaged in a heated exchange. Because of this, both players have been fined £20 and given 2 week bans. This incident will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each time they happen as it is not the league we want to promote at the venue.

In the Premier League division, Blackheath Unathletic showed their dominance with a massive victory over Cordial FC. Meanwhile, Go On Ricky Lad and Withy Regens locked horns in a gripping encounter that ended in a 3-3 draw. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the nail-biting clash between I Like That and Stourbridge Old Boys, which saw the latter edge a 4-3 victory in their favour.

In the Division 1 of the league, Pique Blinders were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Class On Grass. Stourbridge Olympic showcased their defensive prowess with a staunch 2-0 win against Kewford Old Eagles. Stourbridge Zebra closed this week's set of fixtures with a dominant triumph over The Merry Men.

This week's action has set the bar high for the remaining season, with spectators eagerly waiting for the next round of fixtures. It's all to play for in the Stourbridge Sunday Football league.
