We had lots of goals, entertainment and enjoyment for all at Stroud's best 6-a-side league on Monday night, as April's fixtures finished in style.
The night started with a comprehensive 9-0 win for Schlupp against Kalou (originally incorrectly entered on the night as a 5-0 win for Schlupp but now amended on the result and table).
Points matches were held for ITEC but Heavy Gang were unable to attend theirs. As they could not give 7 days notice of this unavailability, they did not get the 5-0 win and will pay double fees next time. They have confirmed that they will be in attendance next time.
The next meaningful match of the night was Washing Machine recording a 5-0 win over Christy Palace.
The best was certainly saved until last though with new boys, Dano FC, recording a debut 5-4 win over Pique Blinders. Goals and competitiveness was on show here that really shows why if you want to play 6-a-Side in Stroud, then you should join us at www.leisureleagues.net
Due to the league returning to 8 teams and more enquiries being received, the league will continue as originally planned to the original end date of 11 June.
No need to wait until then to join us with spaces available but demand increasing. Don't delay, join today!
Please be aware that there are no matches on 7 May as the centre is closed due to the Bank Holiday.
