A return from the last bank holiday break before Christmas, saw a night of upsets to prove just how competitive the Stroud 6-a-side league really is.

The opening match of the night didn't give any indication of what was to follow as Not a Kalou continue to do a Leicester City and continue to dispel the bookies and march on at the top.

Their rivals had a night to forget though.

Back-to-back champions Washing Machine were turned over 5-3 by Pique Blinders who are putting an underwhelming season behind them with results like this.

2 Girls 1 Schlupp then were held to a draw by bottom placed side, Who Ate All Depays, who are improving every week.

This result however was better than Lads on Toure who suffered the final shock of the night with a 3-2 defeat to Dano FC.

There are just 5 weeks of the season to go and with holiday season seeming like a distant memory, now is a great time to join our expanding second division.
