Tension was in the air with interest in a title decider not felt since Liverpool v Arsenal in 1989. It was the last game of the season of 6-a-side football at Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stroud.
All eyes were on PCL v MK Dongs but before that was the appetiser with Washing Machine winning 5-0.
Then the main event saw PCL leading by a point against the champions, MK Dongs so all they had to do to secure the title was to avoid defeat. MK Dongs knew only a win was good enough.
The game went back and forth and was as close as expected but MK Dongs ran out 2-1 winners to secure the title by a point. Congratulations to both teams.
The rest of the night saw 2 Girls 1 Schlupp beat not a Kalou 2-1 and Dano Fc won 5-0.
