Showers and Raining Goals

We had a great night of 6-a-side football after some short sharp showers, but avoided the worst of it!

The night got underway with the return of ITEC but their week off clearly showed as they lost 9-1 against our new boys, Dano FC, although the game was closer than it may appear.

Christy Palace (not known as Colonel Getafe) and Washing Machine played out a high-quality points match before Pique Blinders and Not a Kalou played out a game shown live to the world on Facebook. Pique Blinders edged the game by the odd goal, 3-2.

Second placed side, 2 Girls 1 Schlupp and Heavy Gang also shared 5 goals, but the current runners up scored 4 of those and got an important 2 points in the race for the potential trip to Dortmund!

We have no game next week due to the Bank holiday but will be back on 4 June for the penultimate game of the season.
