Stratford Park Leisure Centre was alive with excitement as all teams in the Leisure Leagues' Stroud Sunday 6 aside league were in attendance for another thrilling round of matches.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the dominant performance by Pain in Dias, who beat Maradona Kebab with a resounding 8-1 win. It was a display of attacking brilliance that left the opposition gasping for air. In another high-scoring game, new team Shaggers and Baggers announced their arrival in style by hammering Red Men FC with a thumping 7-1 win.
However, the match that stole the show was the intense and closely-fought battle between Black Horse Gentlemen and Top Doggers FC, which ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw. It was a match that showcased the passion, skill and determination of both teams, and left the spectators on the edge of their seats.
With only one spot left in the league, new teams and players are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to join the action and showcase your skills on the field.
Please note that there will be no matches this coming Sunday, the 9th of April, due to Easter Sunday. The league will resume on the 16th of April with renewed energy and passion.
