Sunday 23rd March - Stroud Round-Up

It was a good start to the season in the Stroud Sunday 6 a side league overall with all teams in attendance barring one cancellation from Leavemyarselona who've now been removed from the league.  We welcome new team Old Badgers to the league as their replacement and wish these good luck in their first game next Sunday 30th March.

Starting off the day, Sink Males FC squared off against Chiellini Con Carne. Chiellini Con Carne managed to edge a victory with a 1-0 win against Sink Males FC, proving their mettle in what promises to be a closely contested season.

Following this nail-biter, Red Men FC took on Ctrl Alt De Ligt. In another intense competition, Ctrl Alt De Ligt narrowly overcame the Red Men FC with a 1-0 victory. The slender win sets up an intriguing prospect for the rest of the season, with both teams showcasing great potential.

However, the real spectacle of the day was the clash between Randwick Warriors and Expected Toulouse. The match ended in a high scoring 9-3 win for Expected Toulouse, showcasing their offensive prowess. The Warriors, despite the defeat, fought well and assured fans that they would not go down without a fight this season.
