Last night, week 14 of the Swindon Thursday 6-a-side Football League saw some exhilarating matches across divisions 1, 2, and 3.
Division 1 was stormed by Old Town Langers who pulled off a stunning 12-2 victory over Savoy Athletic. This win reaffirms their standing as a formidable team to compete with. In Division 2, Swindon Park Rangers triumphed over 1980's Legends with a scoreline of 5-2. Wichelstowe Wanderers FC edged out Swindon Downs 2-1 while Leave My Arcelona handed Wiggins FC a 3-1 defeat. Brexit Bosh and Jamaican Jet-ski Police engaged in a goal fest, with Brexit Bosh coming out on top 5-2. FC Mordedon clean-swept DL Wanderers 4-0.
Division 3 saw an intense draw between Haynes Beans and Schoolyard Skills at 1-1. Unclarted couldn't hold up against Shield And Shaggers, losing 6-3. Dockle FC dominated their match against Real FC, ending in a 7-1 victory.
Top scorers for each division were also noted. Division 1's top scorer was Old Town Langers' forward, who scored a remarkable five goals. Meanwhile, in Division 2, Swindon Park Rangers' striker was on target, netting four goals. Finally, in Division 3, Dockle FC's forward shone with his hattrick.
