SWINDON THURSDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE: LATEST RESULTS ROUNDUP

The six-a-side Swindon Thursday Football League moved into its sixteenth week last night with a series of head-to-head encounters that were not short on goals and surprises.

In Division 1, the match of the evening was between Savoy Athletic and North FC. North FC overturned a one-goal deficit to win 4-3 in a thrilling contest that had fans on the edge of their seats. Old Town Langers were also in goal-scoring form, successfully defeating Plough FC 6-3. Sons Of Pitches beat out Lordas FC 4-2 in a well-fought game and Show Me The Mane and Noffin FC ended in a nail-biting 0-0 draw.

Moving to Division 2, Swindon Park Rangers fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Leave My Arcelona in a tightly contested match. Wichelstowe Wanderers FC emerged victorious with a hard-fought 5-4 win over Jamaican Jet-ski Police. FC Mordedon demonstrated their strength by thrashing Wiggins FC 6-0, while Brexit Bosh triumphed over DL Wanderers with a 6-3 scoreline.

In Division 3, Shield And Shaggers certainly outplayed Haynes Beans with a 5-1 victory. Unclarted hammered Real FC in a one-sided 12-1 match, and Hungry Higgos defeated Not Dat FC with a clean 4-0 sheet. Dockle FC also claimed a win, beating Pique Blinders 4-1.

It's worth noting that there are only two weeks remaining in this thrilling season. With the competition heating up, teams are encouraged to secure their places for the next season.
