In a thrilling start to the new Swindon Thursday 6 A Side Football league season, teams across Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 put forth a riveting display of skill and grit on the football pitch.

In the Division 1 league opener, Wiggins FC staved off 1980's Legends in a hard-fought match ending 5-3 in their favor. AFC Bunners demonstrated their might by trouncing Wheaty Warriors 7-1, while Bhuis Boys edged out Intern Milan 3-2 in a nail-biter. Bluey United and Dockle FC also emerged victorious, defeating HSS Sports FC and Ctrl Alt De Ligt 3-1, respectively.

Over in Division 2, the spectators witnessed Beercelona's commanding 4-0 victory over Wichelstowe Wanderers FC. Borussia Dwarfmen squeezed a win over We Ate All Depays by 2-1, while DL Wanderers triumphed over Swindon Downs 4-2. Shield And Shaggers started their season strong with a 3-1 victory over PINEHURST FC, and Puyol Pants Down scraped a win against Plough FC by 1-0.

Division 3 was also not short of action. FC De Workman demolished Egoala CF 5-0, and Who Ate All Depays secured a 3-1 win over Haynes Beans. Not Dat FC managed to overcome Unclarted 5-3, while Swindon Warriors narrowly beat Oasis FC 3-2. Schoolyard Skills made a statement by thrashing Savoy Athletic 7-0.

As the season has just started, it's difficult to predict the outcome, but the top scorers for each division after the opening week are Wiggins FC (Division 1), Beercelona (Division 2), and Schoolyard Skills (Division 3). We look forward to more exhilarating football in the coming weeks.
