Football fans were treated to an exciting week 8 of the Tamworth Monday 6 a side football league. The competition, spread across three divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 - saw some thrilling matches and impressive player performances.
In the Premier League, Memphis Creampie took the top spot with a solid 3-1 victory over Rhys Rovers, demonstrating their strong offensive skills and excellent team coordination. Real Badrid, unfortunately, couldn't hold up against the attacking prowess of Greenock Orton, suffering a 0-2 defeat. The highlight of the division, however, was WEENERS FC, who dominated the pitch with a 4-0 thrashing of ACF Viola.
Over in Division 1, the big upset came from Two Goals One Cup who trounced the Presure Is For Tires with a staggering 6-1 victory. Class on Grass outclassed Glazer FC with a 6-3 win, while Mini Tripods and Escobars All Stars ended in a goalless draw. Murder On Zidanesfloor and Composure Lads could only manage a 1-1 tie, adding to the drama of the division.
In Division 2, Belfry FC emerged as the standout team with a commanding 7-0 win against Havent Jota Clue. Red Army TFC couldn't break through the defensive line of Only Fools And Scorers, ending in a 2-0 defeat.
As for the top scorers of each division, Memphis Creampie and WEENERS FC led the Premier League, Two Goals One Cup dominated Division 1, and Belfry FC took the honors in Division 2.
