Weekly News from Monday 26th September

We had another cracking evening of football on Monday, with all teams in attendance as expected with the exception of Chinstrap FC and Balotellitubby. We were grateful Chinstrap contacted Head Office to let us know they were unable to attend, but we were extremely disappointed not to hear anything from Balotellitubby. We will be in contact with both teams to confirm they will be back as normal next week.

We would like to remind all teams that in the unfortunate event you are unable to attend a game, that you contact us on 0333 123 2340 and let us know. Although you will still be charged the match fee if it's less than seven days notice, this allows us to arrange a match for your opponent.

We were also extremely disappointed to hear of an incident in the game involving Crouch Potatos. Danny Lynd received a red card for abusive language aimed at the referee, and has also received a £10 fine and one week ban.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we run. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive bans and fines accordingly.
