Weekly News from Monday 5th September

The new season at the brand new Tamworth FC venue got off to a storming night on Monday, which saw all teams eager and ready bang on time for kick off, with the exception of The Bananamen, Balotellitubby and Elite Feet. We will give each of these team's captains a call to confirm they will be back next week.

The new venue looked superb under the floodlights, and the quality of the arena was matched by the quality of the football played as the new season got off to a dramatic start.

The stand out performance came from Crouch Potatos, who smashed FC Silverback 7-2 to top the Premier Division. Early days, but a signal of intent. Elsewhere, there were big wins for Channel 4 News Team, who won 5-1, and Kuda Warriors, who won 5-2.

We are delighted to welcome new team DSV into the league, and they get started against Elite Feet in their first game. Good luck to both teams heading into this fixture.
