Weekly News from Monday 8th May

It was an unusual night of football on Monday, as we saw two teams fail to attend their games, nor contact Head Office to inform us they were unable to attend. We will be in contact with the team captains of FC Kavos and Inter Boys Under 16 to confirm they will be back as normal next week.

We were also extremely disappointed to hear of an incident in the match involving Channel 4 News Team. Dillon Reece received a red card after verbally abusing the referee, and will now face a £20 fine and two week ban.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.

We would also like to remind all teams that in the unfortunate event you are unable to attend your game, you contact Head Office on 0333 123 2340 and let us know. Although you will still be charged the full match fee if it's less than seven days notice, this allows us to arrange a match for your opposition.

Please treat others as you would want to be treated - there is nothing more frustrating than to get to the venue only to find out you have no game. Please help us to help you and contact Head Office if you can't make it!
