The first week of the Tamworth Sunday 6-a-side Football League has seen some exciting action unfold. Teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 exerted their dominance on the field, setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling season ahead.

PG United overcame School Boy Error with a 2-0 victory, while Saviles Survivors and Ready Brexit couldn’t break the stalemate, ending in a goalless draw.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Route 1 FC emerged as the standout team, trouncing The Galacticos 5-1. Keep It Simple took down Black Beatles FC 7-1, while Don’t Touch My Tapas secured a 2-0 victory over Sons Of Pitches. Chubbalona FC and Messi Facial couldn’t find the back of the net, resulting in a goalless draw.

As the top scorers of the week, Route 1 FC and Keep It Simple from Division 2 clearly set the scoring bar high. In Division 1, Woodland Road FC and The Kromspachers showed their offensive prowess, while in the Premier League, Abbey Green Sixes led the scoring chart.
