6 A SIDE IS BACK FOR 2023 in TEIGNMOUTH

We were welcomed into the new year by some indifferent weather last night as 6 a side returned to Teignmouth and our season continued where we left off. Happy New Year to all our teams and to anyone interested in getting involved in some competitive football this year. We are currently offering free entry into this league as we look to expand with a new division starting on 31st Jan. Keen to get fit this year ? Get you mates together and use 6 a side football as your fitness class for 2023.

So to last nights games and we saw a couple of brilliant match ups as the top two sides in the league met for a tight encounter that ended 3 - 2 to Paris Ganga Man to bring them level on points with leaders Dawlish Utd. Captain Ed Scott bagged a couple for his team to set up a potentially brilliant title run in as the business end of the season approaches. All Cider No Beer moved to 3rd, ahead of What Did You Say Then as the later couldn't get a side together this week gifting All Cider the 5 - 0 win. Old Dogs are up to 5th with a great 2 - 1 win over Future Stars and Dorsetshire Sauce won the basement battle with Priors Preds to move off the bottom and with a 5 - 2 win. Furgus McDonald putting in the performance of the night as he bagged 4 of his teams 5 goals. 

Well done to everyone who was there and a big thanks to Steve and the boys for reffing our games. So good to be back to it and hopefully 2023 will be a stella year for 6 a side in Teignmouth.
